Knowing what our Customers think about us is very important to us, we believe that each and every person who stays at The Lion will feel more like a friend than a customer. We often remark that even though we are in the middle of nowhere we are not far from anywhere, however we are aware that we cannot rely on "passing trade" because there isn't any! The success of The Lion owes a big thankyou to the Internet, almost all our bookings come through it, we are keen to ask our visitors to share their thoughts with others by reviewing us and no, we do not ask just those who we know will give a glowing report. In the same way we ask every guest to sign our Visitor's Book which is available for all to read.

As we enter our 2nd year we won't be chasing accolades but are confident that the quality of accommodation and food and attention to detail will gain further recognition, especially the cooking that Fiona provides which, as one guest remarked "is not like your normal Pub Grub more like fine dining with a heart".
