It's the simple objectives that are often the most difficult to achieve. Our aim is to provide you with food that stands comparison with the very best you can find regardless of cost. We are helped by being able to use superb local produce; all our meat is from local farms,our fish is fresh from the Fishing boats off Conwy and Anglesey, our fruit and veg comes from Llanwrst Market, our Cheese is Welsh. Fiona makes all her own Puds and makes and bakes all our Bread.

Having a Party

Whatever the occasion we will make yours a special one. We can cater for pre-ordered Parties of up to 20ish. For parties of 8 or more we will accept Lunch time bookings, please ask.

Having a Meeting

What better place than The Lion, we have just hosted a Board meeting for a major NW Company, accommodating 9 Board members. We provided lunch, afternoon tea, evening meal and Breakfast, together with private use of our meeting room. They revelled in the tranquility and serenity of their surroundings and thoroughly enjoyed their work that day. Contact us with your requirements.

Breakfast at The Lion Inn

Many believe that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, again all our produce is locally produced; thick fresh Bacon, there's nothing like it! especially after you've had a fresh Juice and Fiona's special Porridge or even more special homemade Muesli and just when you think it can't get any better you taste toast that is from bread made by Fiona.

For breakfast you can choose between the following options:

• Fruit Juice - Orange, Pink Grapefruit, Cranberry or Apple


• Choice of cereals - Cornflakes, Bran Flakes, Special K or you could try our Muesli made from Oats, Barley Pumpkin & Sunflower Seeds, plus a mixture of nuts & various dried fruits (no added sugar).


• Delicious yoghurts - 'Unsweetened Greek Yoghurt, served plain, or topped with Organic Honey or Maple Syrup' or 'The Triple Layer Special: Yoghurt, topped with Apricot Compote & a sprinkling of Granola, a mixture of toasted oats,nuts & seeds.'


• Porridge - with rolled jumbo oats, made traditionaly with water, served with milk or cream, sweetened with a choice of brown sugar, organic honey or maple syrup.


• Full English Breakfast - consists of all, OR any of your choices from the following: Dry Cured local Back Bacon, Local Sausage, Free range Fried Egg, Chestnut Mushrooms and Grilled Tomato.


• Classic Scrambled Eggs - served on hot buttered homemade Toast.


• Boiled Eggs - cooked to your liking served with homemade toast


• Simply Toast - with Marmalade & a selection of Preserves


• Tea, Coffee, or Hot Chocolate
