About our traditional Inn
Originally a row of small cottages dating back to the 17th Century, this cosy village Country Inn is one of the oldest in North Wales.
The completely refurbished interior is tastefully and stylishly decorated and furnished in neutral colours, which show off many of the buildings original features. It is now the perfect place to unwind, perhaps browsing through our selection of magazines or books or in the colder weather gently drowsing in front of the crackling log fire that fills the massive central doublesided fireplace.
The major part of the Lion is 400 years old with the whole building being subject to a total refurbishment and whilst all the current safety and convenience features have been Incorporated the immense character of the building, with its original fireplaces, low beams, exposed stone walls and sloping ceilings, has been carefully retained.
The Lion serves a good selection of beers, real ales, lagers, and malt whiskeys, with an excellent wine selection. We always have a local Real Ale on tap, Beers from the Great Orme & Conway Breweries being particular favourites.
The Lion Inn is just the place to enjoy old fashioned hospitality where all the family are welcome.
